One of the hot searches this past weekend was about a new cruise ship, the Oasis of The Sea. Hmmm a cruise would be really nice. Nothing but relaxation, fun, and plenty of places to stop along the way. Cruises are unique because they allow you to get on a boat, bound for some exotic or unique place, site see, and then return to the same boat for more fun on board. You could be in a new harbor each day of your cruise if you like.

There are a lot of choices when it comes to cruises. There are ships that go to the Islands, some go to Alaska, and others are bound for Europe and Asia. You can also choose how long you want to be sea bound, 14 day, 7 days, or maybe just a long weekend trip.

And lets talk about the food! Wow! There is such a wide variety of really amazing food! Seafood, Mexican, Thai, and usually there is a selection of foods that originate from the places you are sailing. You can dress up for dinner, or go in shorts and flip flops. In fact, there are so many eating choices, you could spend your whole cruise just doing that.

Lots of cruise lines boast about their night life. They have many different lounges,bars and night clubs on the ship, each attracting a different mix of passengers. Some are formal lounges with quiet music, others are crazy loud, with people wall to wall, there are even Vegas shows you can see. There are a few lines that even offer an outside theater, where you can go at night, to watch a first run movie under the stars!

Yes, I think sailing to some far away island sounds more and more like a good thing to do during these upcoming winter months. Maybe that's what I'll ask for from Santa this year!
