Paris Hilton is no stranger to run-ins with the law. Today, the celebutante is back in court with more legal troubles. No, she's not on the hook for drunk driving again. This time, she is accused of not fully promoting her 2006 film 'Pledge This!' Imagine that -- Paris Hilton not promoting herself enough. Inconceivable!The film's investors filed suit against Hilton for $8 million, claiming she didn't honor her contract to promote the DVD release. Though the film underperformed in the box office, the 28-year-old claims she tried her hardest to promote the film. Hilton is expected to testify in the Miami court tomorrow.
This is a tough week for Hilton, who lost a friend of hers on Friday. Kat McKenzie, 25, was a finalist on the TV show 'Paris Hilton's British Best Friend.' Hilton Twittered about the devastating news of McKenzie's death and expressed her sympathy for the family. The cause of McKenzie's sudden passing is currently unknown.
