Why do hangovers happen? Lots of drinks means lots of trips to the toilet, which drains your body of salts and liquids, leaving you feeling fatigued. Water is essential to your body's organs. When dehydrated, they will steal it from other cells, including the brain (which can cause a headache). Sports drinks, number 6 on our list, are a great way to rehydrate your body and consume needed electrolytes.
Pain relievers (no. 2) will ease symptoms of a hangover and supplements like Vitamin B (no. 1) can speed recovery, but why not avoid the aching liver, unquenchable thirst and pounding headache all together? Preventative measures, like Chaser (no. 5) claim that they can prevent hangovers by absorbing toxins and passing them through the body.
Legend has it that a little hair of the dog (no. 4) will ward off a hangover. However, before you sit down for a greasy plate of eggs and a Bloody Mary, be aware that doctors warn against this type of hangover cure.

I am in love and his name is Mr. Power Colon Cleanse http://cli.gs/PowerColonCleanse ! This is by far the best cleansing product available. I saw it on Oprah and thought I would give it a try. Power Colon Cleanse has pretty much changed the way I live my life. My daily chores are done in a breeze and I have more energy, not to mention more time in my day since I don't mind jumping out of bed in the mornings at 7:00 am now. This is not just a cleanser. It is also a detox. I can feel it working and have only been using it for 6 weeks.

Working as an esthetician I always get people asking what they can do about their wrinkles and cellulite. For wrinkles I tell them about Pure Lift Ultra http://cli.gs/PureLiftUltra and how it contains the most potent, doctor grade, wrinkle erasing ingredients that tone and tighten the skin for a smoother, younger face. It's much better, safer, and less expensive than Botox. They always come back to tell me how great it is and how much younger they look. It’s a great product and I back it up 100%. http://cli.gs/PureLiftUltra .
For cellulite problems I always recommend Body Solution http://cli.gs/BestCelluliteSolution a cellulite toning system that is clinically proven to smooth cellulite and firm in as little as 72 hours.

Take a lemon, slice it in half. One half place under your armpit and turn for at least 2 minutes. Repeat on other armpit. Use other half again if you need to repeat procedure. Alleviates headache symptoms.
For nausea, eat 4 or 5 Premium Saltine Crackers. Drink nothing with it. Nausea should leave in about half an hour.

As my dearly departed uncle used to say " I'm going to have a hangover... but not today". CHEERS.

Let's see, 10 posts not counting my own, and 7 of them are pure unmitigated spam. Well, at least I have a list of URLs to avoid like the plague. I'd sooner shave my groin with a cheese grater then go to any of the URL's spammed in the comment section of this article.

400 mg potassium, a couple of sublingual B12's, copious amounts of water, and a slice of dry toast. Within an hour you'll feel 100 percent better.

You know what my hang over remedy is these days? Not taking that first drink! I gave up drinking almost five years ago and don't miss it at all. But if ya do want to drink((and I don't know those that can drink wtihout it being a problem) drink some gatorade the next day, take a few tylenol(vicodin if ya got any) and eat something!

Here is an idea, a cure; how about not getting drunk in the first place.
By mail87mail on Jun 14th 2009 at 9:30AM
Eat a bananna and drink at least 1 large glass of water before going to bed, repeat in the morning. It replaces the most important things your body looses after a night of heavy drinking.

When you have kids to get up for, you need to stop drinking and act like an adult. It's not their fault you're an alcoholic. Get up for your kids and be a parent. When I had kids I changed my lifestyle.

This is a response to the "responsible parent" that had three kisd to get up for.

I thought a hangover was caused by the body metabolizing the vast amounts of alcohol you ingested into vast amounts of acetaldehyde, which is a real bitch in your system, much more toxic than the alcohol. The best remedy for a hangover would absolutely be a bit of the hair of the dog which bit ya' since it can counteract some of the sife effects of the acetaldehyde. As for foods, mild carbalicious foods will stay down better when things start staying down.
My personal recommendation for food in case of hangover? The best, absolute very best, hangover food is thin crust pizza which was left in the box on the coffee table all night. A beer and stale pizza will have you feeling like you're among the living again sooner than anything else.
