Stinky Feet?

Have you ever taken your shoes off at the end of the day and realized that your feet smell terrible? Foot odor can leave you feeling embarrassed and force you to keep your shoes on at all times. Lucky for you, there are several great deodorizing products. Check out our top searched list of foot odor treatments (below).

Top Searched Foot Odor Treatments on AOL Search:
1. Boric Acid
2. Scoe 10x
3. On Your Toes
4. Odor Eaters
5. Lavilin Cream
6. Onox
7. Fresh Force
8. Jobst Antibacterial Socks
9. Summer Soles
10. Tinactin Antifungal Foot Powder

Frequent washing is your first line of defense in the war against smelly feet. Bacteria grows naturally on your feet, but sweat makes your tootsies a breeding ground that can cause your feet to reek. By scrubbing your feet daily, you clear out these microscopic creatures. Don't forget to wash between your toes too!

After washing, apply a foot powder to absorb sweat and hinder bacterial growth. Boric acid, number 1 on our list, can be dusted in your socks and shoes as an anti-bacterial treatment.

Make sure that your feet are able to breath when wearing footwear. Natural fiber socks, like cotton, and socks with anti-bacterial treatments, like number 8 on our list, absorb perspiration in order to prevent odor. Inserts, such as Odor Eaters (no. 4) will also help absorb moisture and control odor. Some open-toed shoes will allow your feet to breathe easier, but plastic and rubber soles can actually make it harder for them to breathe. During the summer, try the fragrant foot liners from Summer Soles (no. 9) to mask odor. As a general rule of thumb, don't wear the same shoes two days in a row in order to give them time to dry out.
