In the summer, no kitchen is complete without a blender. There is no better way to enjoy the fresh fruits and vegetables of the season. Blenders double as juicers and food processors so you can make tasty smoothies, milkshakes, margaritas, soups, sauces, dressings and more! Check out our list of the top searched blenders and get one of these must-have appliances.Top Searched Blenders on AOL Search:

When shopping for a blender, consider what concoctions you plan to blend. The higher the wattage, the more blending power. If you are planning on pureeing thick vegetables, like carrots, you'll want a blender with at least 350 watts. Higher power will also chop ice more finely, so you don't get unwanted chunks.
If you do a lot of entertaining and enjoy blending up drinks for friends and family, get a large capacity blender to prevent overflowing. Most will be around 40 to 56 ounces. As an extra bonus, some blenders come with spouts for easy pouring.
Don't let your blender tether you to the kitchen. Cordless blenders, like the Magic Bullet (No. 1), allow you to bring your blender out on your deck at your BBQ or on a picnic for a cold smoothie. The Magic Bullet even has its own time saving recipes and powder packets for easy mixes.

I've had a Magic Bullet for 5-6 years now, and it's the most used item in my kitchen. We love to make our own coffee drinks, and it works great. Saves money, too!

The real key to looking healthy is by taking the freshest and most organic vitamin supplements that your body can utilize. Your body isn%u2019t going to use fish oil bought at a drug store or warehouse store that been sitting for months. For your body to use it you need to take the most natural, organic vitamins and supplements you can get. I found them at www.iherb.com The fish oil is great and I love the vitamin C and Cinnamon (for my high blood sugar, I%u2019m diabetic). I%u2019ve been taking the Spirulina blue-green algae for only 2 weeks and my skin is glowing, my hair is thicker and shiner and my nails grow so fast I don%u2019t even have to use acrylic nails anymore. You can get free samples and $5 off if you use the code AMA889. I have the energy of a teenager again. I%u2019m 39 and feeling fine.

There are 7 comments on this blog. The first 6 are advertisements for websites selling products that have absolutely nothing to do with the blog. AOL, when are you going to stop giving free advertising space to these idiots?

We spend a fortune on looking good, clothing, makeup, cars, etc. I can tell you that the easiest and cheapest way to look good is to lose weight. Lookin' good is well worth the effort. I lost 47 pounds in 6 weeks using the Rapidthin diet at www.rapidthin.com. Good luck to all. Use what works for you.

I have never and I really mean never so I hope I am doing this right, anyway, I bought the MAGIC BULLETT about 4 years ago. I actually got buy one for 3 payments of $33.33 and get one free (plus postage, lol) and it even came with a juicer and extra cups and a few extra free stuff that you don't get in the store. I gave the extra one for my mom as a xmas gift. I LOVED it and so did my mom!!!!! I still use it almost everyday! My first test was the crushed ice like on t.v. The secret is to put a little either water or juice whatever the liquid you are using. And it works GREAT!!! Everything that they show you on the infomercial is true. I will probally be getting a new one cause my son is gonna go to college soon and I know he wants one cause there perfect for snacks in the microwave. So I am hoping there is a buy one get one again cause my boys lost a few mugs but it still works great!!! Definitly worth the money. Even juicer works great, by the way I am not getting paid I was just chercking my email and this screen came up before I typed in yahoo. God Bless

AOL, how about hiring one more middle school student devoted to removing the ads from the comments sections of these 'news' items? I enjoy reading the comments, except that slogging my way through the ads for vitamins, diets, and skin ointments makes it next to impossible to get to the comments pertaining to the content. Do the idiots who continually post these ridiculous ads think people will actually act on them?

In response to the above question, my wife and I have used the Blendtec for about 9 months now. We grind veg's, fruits and other ingredients into a thick shake, 5 days a week now, which becomes our dinner. My wife (48) went from 145 to 135 lbs and I (51 Yr's old) went from 200 to 185. We feel cleaner, healthier and have more energy as a result. It's also cheaper than a traditional dinner and obviously more nutritious. Different ingredients used, will aid in attaining targeted health concerns. Any questions or comments regarding recipes used can be directed to www.butchersblocksplus.com

I have tried and returned Jack Lalane (blender, and Juicer) Blendtec, and the Magic Bullet. None compare to the Vita-Mix. They just don't have the power to handle too many items at at time, or they just don't break them down into small pieces. (seeds, cores). Save your time, money and the hassle. Buy the Vita-Mix. And as always it's made in the USA and has a great warranty, not that you will need it!

I got the Magic Bullet as a gift. It burned up on me the first time I tried to make a smoothie in it. I pulsed the mixture just like the directions said. Next thing I knew, it was fried. The manufacturer said "tough luck". The warranty was no good and the unit could not be repaired.

Wesley,
What do "Butcher Blocks" have to do with blender reviews?
By trolllund on Jun 7th 2009 at 1:15PM
For the money, the Magic Bullet is the best kitchen appliance! I use mine frequently. It is very handy, doesn't take up much space, and is easy to clean. I love making frozen smoothies with it, but it also makes the best scambled eggs.

Dont buy magic bullet. I just bought one, it doesnt work anything like the way they advertise it. It liquifies everything you put in it, and I DID follow the instructions to the letter. It is a complete and total rip off.
