Top Searched Diet Pills on AOL Search:1. Hydroxycut

Dieting is hard! Quick diets don't help you lose weight long term and exercise regimens are hard to stick to. Maybe diet pills really are the best way how to lose weight effectively. Check out our list of the top searched diet pills on AOL Search.
Hydroxycut made it to the top of our most searched list, but I wouldn't recommend taking it. The FDA issued a recall due to the pills links to liver damage and one death. Following the FDA warning, it spiked on our list!
I can see why Alli made it towards the top of the list. According to their customer testimonials, this pill, along with diet and exercise, can increase weight loss up to 50 percent. However, Alli is known to have some nasty side effects as well. According to their website, you will pass something "that looks like the oil on top of a pizza" out your body. Are the benefits worth the costs?
Did you know phentermine received FDA approval back in 1959? It's still a top searched diet pill today. It's strange to think people have been using phentermine for so long.
I have to say, I'm a little skeptical of all these miracle pills and I wonder if they really lead to healthy weight loss. There are so many diet pills that out there that I question how safe they really are. Some of these diet pills I have actually heard of like Hoodia and Hydroxycut. But what exactly are Meridia and Lipovox? Lipovox, number 9, is made of extracts from superfoods like flaxseed, barley, green tea, acai and more. The antioxidants from these superfoods are great for your body.
Yes, popping a diet pill does sound much easier than counting your calories or exercising, but do they really work? Have you tried any of these diet pills? And if so, what worked for you? Type 'diet pills' in the AOL Search Box above for more information on diet pills. Or, if diet pills aren't your thing, check out our Top Searched Fitness Equipment post.

I have tried many diet pills in the past, not many work very well, and have bad side effects, but this Herbal Product is extremely powerful and I have used it for months with great success

I don't judge. I took diet pills, tried Master Cleanse, Jeeny Craig, Optifast....been there, done it. I finally lost the weight after battling the same 40 pounds for years, by getting my head in the game. It finally clicked for me that I wanted to be normal sized and not the fat friend. I wanted to wear a pair of size 6 or 8 jeans more than I wanted the Burger King.
I changed my way of thinking. There is no more my diet starts tomorrow. I never try to be perfect and I don't let myself feel deprived. It wasn't till after I had my babies and I had even more weight to lose that I got serious. The major thing that works for me is having a healthy breakfast. If I have a large carby muffin or donut, my day just goes downhill. I start most days with a big dish of strawberries, Greek Yogurt and fitflax. http://www.fitflax.com Fitflax is roasted yummy low carb low cal flax that does not need to be ground and is filling. I feel full, satisfied and ready to make smarter food decisions the rest of the day.
I love to have a big salad with grilled chicken and avocado lunch time. I can't stand diet dressing and usually have balsamic vinigrette. I like the salad option as there is lots of chewing and I don't feel hungry. Dinner is usually a protein and veggies. And a glass of red wine. Cheers!

Its hard to believe what people spend money on these days. Everyone wants a pill that will do the work for them, yet when they stop taking the pill, the weight comes back worse than before. Why? You didnt do anything, the pill did it all! It took absolutely no discipline to lose your fat. The only way to take it off and keep it off is balanced nutrition and exercise! Balanced nutrition, however, doesn`t mean giving up meat, or giving up carbs, or giving up who knows what else. If you look hard enough, someone has made a %u201Cdiet%u201D out of it. If you`re like me, you didn`t gain it overnite so you probably won`t lose it over nite. Fat builds up over time because of %u201Cinactivity%u201D and/or %u201Cpoor diet%u201D. To reverse this process, it should also take time. Activity means %u201Dregular%u201D activity. Once around the block then to the scales won`t cut it. A lack of discipline causes fat and nothing short of an abundance of discipline will remove it for good!
Even the almighty FDA has finally given in and said that everyone should supplement their nutritional intake. The foods we eat today are not what they were say in the fourties. An apple in 1940 would have the equivalent nutrition as about 14 apples today. The soils are depleted of nutrients and we only return Nitrogen, Potassium, and Phosphorus back to the soil which leaves a huge gap in nutrients.
We hear how good a source of calcium milk is, yet its a known fact that pasteurized milk contains absolutely no useable calcium to the human body. Milk is heated to 148 degrees to kill bacteria and bovine growth hormones that are given to cows to increase milk production an extra 18 months. When calcium is heated over 118 degrees, the calcium changes from the %u201Ccis%u201D form, which is natural and useable, to the %u201Ctrans%u201D form, which the human body can not absorb. %u201CGot milk%u201D, no calcium.
A new product has been introduced to the supplement market in July 08. It is called Chews4Health.

I was lucky enough to never have been overweight in my life. That all ended after the birth of my second child. I got down to 20 pounds over my normal weight but no matter what I did I couldn't lose the rest. I didn't know if was age catching up with me or if somehow my metabolism changed. Whatever the reason, nothing was working. One of my friends, knowing what I was going through, recommended a weight loss pill to me. I was very reluctant to try anything like that but when she explained to me that it contained acai berry, she got my attention. I know that the acai berry is one of the best antioxidants available. That made me realize that this was more than a weight loss pill but something that would be good for me too. W I lost about 2 pounds a week and in less than three months I was back to my normal weight and I felt full of energy and actually felt the healthiest I felt in years. You owe it to yourself to look into Acai Berry Select if you need to lose weight.

I work in a modeling agency and the only way that our models over age 22 are able to get down to their weight for bathing suit shoots is by using a fat burning/detox/cleanse. This is the one that we find works the best WeightLossCleanse I'm far from a model myself but it's been helping me lose 5-8 pounds a month and I have never felt better in my life.

In my study of nutrition sciences, I explored the latest research in weight loss ingredients. Through that research I became aware of two great products that I have been testing and seeing amazing weight loss results among my test groups. One is a fusion of a safe, legal, and potent form of ephedra, for fat burning, combined with hoodia for appetite suppression. The test results are showing very significant weight loss. I don't think there has ever been a better weight loss ingredient than ephedra and there is a limited supply of this new legal form.
The other contains Slimaluma a clinically-proven and patented ingredient will help you lose the weight fast! It was scientifically engineered to dramatically suppress your appetite and block the conversion of the calories to fat by 33% without a prescription. The people involved in the testing can't believe how much their appetite is reduced and the resulting loss of weight is significant.

I had been overweight for the past five years. I had tried almost everything in the market, right from taking diet pills to enrolling in a gym but nothing really worked. Yes I did lose a few pounds but nothing substantial. It was then that a friend recommended Acai Berry Supreme to me. I have been using the product for about a month now and have slimmed down considerably. I have actually started to wear all those dresses that I had put off for so long. The product is definitely one of the best weight loss products in the market today. I have already finished two bottles of Acai Berry Supreme and am on my third bottle now. It totally changed my life! Not only did I lose a lot of weight quickly, I have also never felt more energetic and so full of life

I am a research scientist and I was involved in a research study of the latest diet products on the market. I guess it was no surprise that most really weren't effective and, in fact, didn't contain any ingredients that contributed to weight loss. The most effective one we found contains 135 mg of Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) from green tea, along with L-Theanine and the antioxidant acai berry (almost all of the other diet products we studied containing acai berry didn't have any ingredients that have anything to do with promoting weight loss.) EGCG has been shown to increase energy expenditure (a measure of metabolism), and to increase fat oxidation.L-Theanine is a water soluble amino acid found in green tea and in mushrooms. In-vitro and animal studies suggest that L-Theanine is also helpful with weight loss. The control groups using this supplement not only experienced significant weight loss but the majority of their weight loss was from fat. Then we split the control groups showing this weight loss in two and put half of them on a program with a fat burning/detox/cleanse /WeightLossCleanse The result was that they lost on the average of 30% more than the group not using the cleanse. Obviously there are synergistic advantages to combing both supplements. Using the combination of both products, along with just moderate exercise, we saw steady weight losses of 10-12 pounds a month and observed that the test subjects were more energetic and, at least anecdotally, were in much better general health.
WARNING IF YOU HAVE ANY DIET PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN HYDROXYCITRIC ACID DO NOT TAKE ANOTHER PILL. Return them to where you bought them or just throw them out. It will destroy your liver if you don't.

I see people at work, get up from their desk and then plop in the lounge for break and lunch. Perhaps it's metabolism, but I pretty much eat all day, and at work I walk on break and lunch. I'm always busy at home too. I've seen a friend lay on the couch with 1/2 a gallon of ice-cream and some kinda soda and not move for hours. Ever been to the supermarket in London? There aren't any carts. Just baskets. People have to walk to the tube station then walk to the store and back again. Exercise and fresh food everyday. Thats the way to live,

Diet pills might work in the short run, but you gain back the weight after you lose it and have horrible side effects. I've recently started exercising more and slightly eating better and I feel better about myself. I'm starting slow, but I'm getting there. I'd recommend it to anyone to try it the old fashioned way and just diet and exercise. It's more cost efficient, lasts longer, and you're healthier in the long run.

You don't need diet pills, shakes or some new beverage to lose weight. I know what it's like to try and lose weight. I lost 47 pounds in 6 weeks using the Rapidthin diet. Good luck to all. Use what works for you.

I have been using Phentermine for two months. I am 100% satisfied with this product. I have lost 28 pounds in two months. I have been on a very strict diet on my own. I started out weighing 198 on Jan. 6th. I started with alli for about 1 month I lost six pounds. :-( I did not have any problems with the bad part of the side effects of this product. Although I did not care much for this plan. On the 2nd of March, I went to my doctor for a physical I asked her about an appetite suppressant to help me with weight loss. This is when she gave me a prescription for Phentermine. I am overwhelmed by the way this product has worked for me. Since then I have lost 28 pounds. :-) I weighed myself today May 2nd and I weighed 170 pounds. I have watched my calorie and fat grams very closely. I drink about 60 ounces of water a day. I have also increased my protein and vegtables. I watch my beverages and do not drink anything with alot of calories. I cut all of my portions of food inhalf. I eat about 4 times a day, very small amounts and nothing after 6pm. but more water. I also walk 3 miles 3 times a week. I have not weighed 170 in about 14 years. Although before I had 2 children my weight was about 150. I am 5'4" and 42 years old and I carry my weight very well, I have an hour glass figure. I have had so many comments about how good I look and all the people that I see are completely suprised by my efforts. What a boost to my motivation to lose about 20 more pounds. I would love to be back at my age 29 weight again. I hope that I inspired you by my story. I have inspired myself also. I feel great! I want to be more healthy!
My children are 10 and 6. I would love to live to see grand children.
Best wishes in your search for the right plan.
I found mine!

I am 49 yrs old and weight has been an on and off situation most of my life.Due to major surgery and being off work plus I quit smoking all at the same time I really put on the weight.I have tried alot of diets but can't take diet pills due to health issues so I decided to ask my doctor if I could take anything. He wrote a prescription for zenical and when I called the pharmacy for a price 289.00 was way too much so I was told to try alli.I have been taking it for a little over a week and I stay close to a lowfat diet and the nasty side effects have not been a problem at all.I think if you follow the directions you'll be fine.Just stay on a low fat diet and for the first few days hang by the house just in case.I haven't checked my weight yet but I know what I am not supposed to eat and that is fat so since I know this I figure I am going to loose weight one way or another by taking the pill and regular excercise with a major cutback of fat intake.Alli doesn't give you the jitters or dry mouth or insomnia as most diet pills do.It works on the digestive system so I think it has to be alot safer than other products.Alli is like anything else it's just an aid but it's not addictive and you can take it on your schedule so if you have a schedule like mine I don't get up until about noon but don't go to bed until about 4:00am so I don't eat dinner until about 8:00 or 9:00pm and alli won't keep me awake like other diet pills.

I am all for anything to lose weight. When I was younger all I needed to do was eat a little less. Now that I am in my 30's, it is harder. I make sure I get exercise every day, which makes me more toned and I can eat more and not gain weight. I am a huge fan of MBT trainers and smartsoles for the cellulite
though. SmartSoles are anti-cellulite insoles that fit in any flat shoe and cause you to burn more calories with every step.

No surprise about gross Alli. This same pill under a different name was popular in the 70's-80's, and one spent all one's time in the bathroom or looking for one. As for the old "diet and exercise myth", well, that's a convenient answer people such as medical professionals use to blame the fat person for their problems. Like cancer and many other conditions, the best predictor of your weight and body size is your ancestry, not your current diet or your moral failings. None of the industry wants you to know that because they can't make money off your ancestry. I eat nothing but meat and dairy and am allergic to almost all fresh fruits and vegetables, yet my cholesterol is so low that the medical folks gasp. Why? Maybe the fact that almost all my ancestors were Scots and Scots-Irish, and in Scotland back in the day, there weren't salad bars and yoga kings. I have a large number of ancestors in the "flesher's guild"--a flesher was a person who raised meat , butchered and sold it. A nice big salad and some grilled chicken will leave me sick from the allergies and hungry--and ancestral food practices make sense to explain this. Diet books and trendy food fads don't.
