This is the time of the year when most people promise themselves to lose weight. Most of us are at our heaviest after stuffing ourselves with all the great traditional holiday goodies. Last year I made the same New Year's resolution as I had in the past, that I would go on a diet and lose weight. I needed to lose about 30 pounds but found it easier to say that I needed to lose weight than to actually do it. I started out by trying to just eat as little as possible but that didn't work more than a couple of days and I started pigging out by the end of the third day. I tried speed walking for a couple of hours a day but with the usual January snowstorms that was hard to do. I was thinking that it was going to be like every other year with my own broken promise to myself about losing weight. Then I ran into a friend of mine who obviously had lost a bunch of weight and had in fact never looked better. I asked her how she did it and when she told me she did it with the help of an diet pill I was very skeptical. I told her that I didn't think any of them worked. She told me that she felt the same way and only tried it because she found an offer with a free trial on the Internet. She sent me that link in an email and I tried it for myself and to my amazement it actually worked. I was losing 2 %u2013 3 pounds a week. I lost my 30 pounds in a little over 3 months and I have managed to keep the weight off ever since. The great thing was that I didn't just lose that weight but I felt better throughout the day and I still do.

I just wanted to recommend that everyone come to the Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach area of Florida. The beaches are wonderful and the night life is even more incredible.

I guess I had weight creep because after gaining a few pounds each year I looked in the mirror and didn't like what I saw because I had ripples of fat. I know that diet pills don't work because the only way to lose weight in the long run is to eat less and/or exercise more. Since I am slightly handicapped exercise wasn't really an option for me. I did a lot of research and read about a meal substitute shake that only had 10 calories and came in 6 delicious sounding flavors. I started out trying chocolate apple pie and mocha frappachino and while the Reeses Peanut Butter, the Oreo or the chocolate strawberry cheesecake might taste better, I can't think of a reason to even try them because I'm loving the flavors I started with. None of that would matter if I wasn't losing weight. I have found that by drinking Slim Shake to replace a meal or two a day, I don't feel hungry at all. Now I'm seriously losing weight on a regular basis and have been for a few months now.

I%u2019m a makeup junkie. I try everything. The color is surprisingly good, very natural and complementary. My husband asked me if I got a facial. He said, %u2018Your skin looks different,%u2019 but he couldn%u2019t tell why. I was worried that the powders would dry out my skin, but instead they make it feel silky. Now that I%u2019ve been exposed to makeup that%u2019s natural and works, I wouldn%u2019t use anything else.

From the time that I was a teenager until my late twenties I was considered to be beautiful and I was told that my eyes were my best feature. When I turned 30 for some reason I developed some serious wrinkles and dark circles under my eyes. All of the sudden what used to be my best feature started making me look older and less attractive. I know I am vain but it was devastating to me. About a half year ago I went to a salon to have my makeup done for a special occasion and the the makeup artist told me about something that she said would help me with my wrinkles and dark circles. She promised to send me a link so I could buy it online and get a free trial sample. It worked so well that I started getting the compliments that I used to get for my eyes. I might be shallow but it was like a life saver to me.

When i first heard about using the acai berry, i heard a heck of a lot of good things about it. It immediately gained my attention and I wanted to know more about it. So i did my research and continued to like what I was hearing. So then I decided to order some acai for myself and I am very glad that i did just that. Why? Because within just 2 days, I had much more energy and within 3 weeks I lost 14 pounds. It was incredible to me that I could use something so natural and so small, and lose THAT much weight. I%u2019ve got to admit that I was hesitant about using it at first but i%u2019m glad i tried it.

I love Cancun as it is a safe city that loves Americans. I so miss walking outside in the winter and love when on vacation just strolling around and taking in the sites.
I love to slather on some SPF30, put on
my Ray Bans and go for a walk for walk all down the strip. They have great margaritas at Carlos and Charlies! I have lost 20 pounds in the last year and walking is a
big part of it.
I now walk all over the place. I am a working mother and going to the
gym is out of the question. I
wear smartsole anti-cellulite insoles which I put in my walking shoes
or sneakers. They are super comfortable and they cause you to burn
more calories with every step
On vacation I walk a little less brisk, but do try to get in exercise so when I get back I don't have a huge weight gain to contend with.

I hope that all of those desiring a wonderful spring break will do it in America. Please do NOT go to mexico. mexico is not our friend, and we Americans need our fellow American to spend our money here. Visit an American beach. Take care of America first. Take care,

You should always wear sunblock whether on vacation or not. Avon sells great inexpensive high quality sunblock. And just for the record who can afford vacation at this point in time!!

I love Jamaica and the all inclusives in Negril. The water in Jamaica is warm and so blue. I stayed at the Grand Lido and was not a big fan of it, but I heard that Beaches was a nice all inclusive there. Grand Lido offered a lot of food but it was poor quality and I found way to many carby things. I was hoping for for more grilled fish and seafood.
I lost 20 pounds recently by going to Weight Watchers and getting
off my butt and walking more (I wear either smartsole insoles or MBT's). I endulge on vacation, but I want it to be worth my while. When I am not on vacation, I eat fitflax every morning for health and weight loss
reasons. I have a
banana low fat yogurt with fitflax for breakfast. It is filling,
keeps me regular and tastes fabulous (kinda like sesame
seeds). It is low carb and low
cal.

Fort Lauderdale is a great economical place to go for Spring Break. Its centrally located and you will meet people from everywhere around the world. It is much safer than Miami. Bypass the hotels and run-down motels and get a group of 6 together and stay at a private rental home

Perhaps not for Spring Break but for the summer .... if you do not feel like going out of the country but staying within our borders ... you can visit Erie, PA. What is there you ask? Wonderful people and a park that juts out into Lake Erie. Presques Ilse State Park. It has a few miles of beaches. As well as several picnic areas. A good place to take the family and spend the day there. The life guards are on duty, I believe from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. At the beginning of the season the Lake Erie water may be a bit cold to swim in. Unless you do not mind the cold. By August, the water is warm. Have fun swimming or sun bathing. Don't forget to bring the sunscreen/blockers/lotions.

No one goes to Panama City, if they do they are just passing through on their way to the beach. Please get it right for once. Everyone goes to Panama City BEACH, which is about 10 miles from Panama City

I did the "move to Florida thing" many years ago. I quickly discoverd that the mountains were way more important to me than the beach. After 6 months of going to the beach every weekend the excitment was gone, and life in Florida was horrible. Now I'm back living in the mountains and there is fun in every season. Camping, hiking, snowmobiling, fishing, ATV, ski slopes, the list goes on. Lets go to the beach....no thanks.
