I had never been much of a coffee drinker until my trip to Hawaii last year. While I was there I discovered the delicious and rich flavors of Kona coffee, only available from the Hawaiian Islands. Since then, just the smell of fresh coffee beans or coffee brew makes my mouth water.Coffee drinkers are a dedicated bunch. They set their automatic Cuisinart coffee maker to brew their morning coffee the same way they set their alarm to wake them up in the morning. Or they stop at their favorite coffee franchise, like Starbucks, every morning on their way to work.
I don't need too much caffeine in the morning, so I like to stick with my one cup coffee maker. Though I like my Keurig coffee maker, I thought it would be nice to try some other types of coffee. I decided to get some suggestions by looking at what kinds of coffee people are searching for on AOL Search.
For a special treat, I am excited to try some of the gourmet coffee that showed up on the top searched list. Number seven, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, has regional exclusivity like Kona coffee and a deliciously unique flavor. Gevalia Coffee carries a wide variety of gourmet flavors and roasts, including seasonal flavors. I was also interested in getting some green coffee beans and roasting my own coffee. What could be fresher?
If I need a cup of joe on the go, drive thru coffee, like Dunkin Donuts, is the fastest and I can get some breakfast. Green Mountain Coffee, number one on the list, is also great with food and is served at a lot of restaurants because they sell wholesale coffees.
There are so many choices. What is your favorite type of coffee? Leave a comment and let us know! Find out about more types of coffee on AOL Search and locate a coffee shop near you with AOL Yellow Pages.

From Louisiana...Community Coffee (Between Roast) is my favorite. But, I live in Canada now and have to admit Tim Horton's makes a really good coffee.

My husband and I only drink Kona peaberry coffee. It is less acidic and so rich in flavor that I have stopped using any additives like coffee mate etc. I use a little natural cane sugar(brown crystals) and a little half and half. Sooo good!

Maybe the world is not familiar with "Tim Horton's" coffee, but take it from a retired law enforcement person...it is consistantly the best brew I have found in the city, is not nearly as expensive as the others, and tastes like coffee smells when you first grind those beans or open a fresh can of pre-ground!MMMMMMMMM!!!

I love Tim Horton's coffee. There's a time limit as to how long it sits in the pot and they filter the water. It's a bit strong so it's not for the fainthearted who need tons of sugar in their brew. Of course it's made better in Canada but the USA shops do a nice job.

By the way"Tim Hortons" is a national icon in Canada, as famous as the "Maple Leaf"!

I was pretty much a starbuck's fan until I moved and their drive-thru was no longer convenient. I went through McDonalds Drive-Thru to pick up a quick cup and was very pleasantly surprised. McDonalds has raised the bar. Good job Ronald!

Really, for the best beans and the best coffee, nothing beats the VERY freshy roasted beans at Willoughby's in New Haven, CT
http://www.willoughbyscoffee.com/
If you're not in Connecticut, you can purchase their beans via mail order. And when they say fresh, the beans weren't roasted last month, or even last week, they were roasted YESTERDAY!

Starbucks is the worst tasting coffee ever. It's worse than the little packs you get in a cheap motel room. I avoid places that say "We proudly serve Starbucks coffee". Regular old Folger's will do just fine.

FYI...the Keurig single-cup brewers that use the k-cups can also use any kind of ground coffee. There is a basket that can be purchased from either the Green Mountain site (www.greenmountaincoffee.com) or the Keurig site that fits into the k-cup spot. It works great!

If anyone tells me they drink coffee for it's flavor like motor oil for it's flavor and severe cancer effects. Meanwhile more people than more are having more Anxiety attacks than ever before. Then almost overnight the next day a report sponsored by major coffee companies that says it is actually good for you. I honestly working in the medical profession can not even stand it for taste. When I was Italy things were consumed for taste. Every morning I had one and that was fine. I came back to the states and live on Tea ever since and do not feel like I am on edge all the time. Your body your choice but, this is the dumbest article ever. Just for your information Caffeine overuse can turn into a life threatening condition overdose which can lead to death. If you have any heart history in fact you should ask your Cardiologist should be asked if you can have coffee.
The bottom line is this coffee tastes like crap, causes high blood pressure and can make existing heart conditions worse or MAKE YOU A NEW ONE! You do bot have to believe me but, I love my tea. Earl Grey Thank You.

Some years ago my wife and I experienced the GREAT FLAVOR of Kona coffee, adiction setin!
Each month we have some Kona Coffee sent to us via USPS from Purple Mountain, a Company that picks the beans and sun dries the beans. During the Holiday Season we share a pound with some of our special friends. We prefer Medium Roast though Dark Roast is available.
Interested? Let me know!
