You can't escape infomercials. They are all over late-night TV and sometimes they even sneak their way into prime-time commercial breaks. In truth, we love to hate them. It is amazing to watch a cloth soak up nearly a gallon of water or see a patch suck all the toxins out of your body, but deep down we know it probably doesn't truly work like that.
Love them or hate them, you are still searching for them. Check out our list of the top searched infomercials.
Not surprisingly, most of these products deal with fitness care and body image, including exercise equipment, facial skin care and diets. Number one on the top searched list is Nutrisystem, a weight loss system. These convincing commercials show people losing weight in a matter of days. If it actually works is up to you to find out. Another health-related infomercial is Dual Action Cleanse, which markets itself as a natural body cleanser meant to clean your colon.
Other than products to lose weight, other top searched 'As Seen on TV' commercials include a slow cooker made especially for pasta.

I know this is off the topic, but I just wanted to share what I found today with everyone. 50% OFF on everything, and No Taxes. This web site is the best thing that has ever happened. With this economy as bad as it is I'm always looking for something to help me in these hard times. I found this web site www.olspro.com where everything is discounted 30% off at checkout, but add this coupon code: DAYLIGHT and you will get an additional 20% discount, and they even will pay your own taxes, now that's what I'm talking about, and the best part is that there is something for everyone. Take it from me a person that's spends her day looking for bargains www.OLSPRO.com is the best deal on the web today.
When I find more stuff I will let you know...

I have been telling all my friends who have aches and pains about Dr. Frank's No Pain Spray. (NoPainSpray.com) It is wholistic, and when taken in conjunction with the same company's capsules, is close to miraculous. It is absolutely incredible.....and only desperation made me try it! It works better than Aleve and is much safer; I had shoulder and knee pain constantly, and plan to keep using these products. Cheap? Not really, but considering the cost of medications, a month's supply of both capsules and spray, including S and H, is around $42..........a bargain if you have chronic pain!

I don't care if the shamwow works or not? the guy selling it is the most obnoxious bozo on tv! followed closely by billy mays? (the guy in the blue shirt who can't talk without yelling?) (oxyclean) If I didn't see it on every channel, at least 20 times an hour, I could take it a bit better? are they really selling that many? and what's that commercial costing them? if the line in the commercial was true? ("we can't keep doing this forever?") how come I've been seeing it for over a year now? get a clue shamwow and other companies selling on tv! .... saturation selling just pisses alot of us off? and we wouldn't buy your products even if they did work?

Stay away from PediPaws online site. Once you place an order for an item you cannot remove it from the order! I have ordered many times online and have never seen a site like this one. I xed out on the order and never confirmed but they sent it! I have sent it back and notified my credit card company. I will never do that site again. Oh, I called the 800 number and for PediPaws press 1, you do and you are disconnected! The Post Office has been flooded with PediPaws returns!

Magic Bullet is great! So is that folding strainer. Swivel Sweeper is a total waste of money.
Billy Mays has a special place in announcers h*ll reserved. Oh, BTW, stay very far away from anything pitched by Kevin Trudeau. He is a complete crook (really, convicted felon!).

My favorite diet - the one that actually works, is the RapidThin Diet. I know what it's like to try and lose weight. I lost 47 pounds in 6 weeks using the Rapidthin diet at www.rapidthin.com. Good luck to all. Use what works for you.

I'll bet my undies that these comments are made by people who are getting paid for it.

I'd really like to punch the Shamwow guy in his face, as he is an annoying commercial person.

I was in an infomercial for a hair replacement company that I worked for.... nice infomercial but the company has a terrible reputation for ripping people off, esp women.

Shamwow really works. Just like the pitchman says. Unlike that loudmouth Billy Mayes.

I don't know if it is still being sold, but I bought the Turbo Cooker and it is fantastic! The first time I used it, I put a frozen chicken breast on the rack, filled the bottom of the pan with water, set the vent, and not very much time passed and the chicken was done...it was delicious! Anyone who is hard put to find time to cook should get one of these.

My husband saw the PediPaw in the store, with the bold "as seen on TV" slogan on it...
He had to buy it!!
The "girls" have to go to the vet every week for treatments and baths, and they get their nails trimmed.. they are either "cat claws" or "sweater shredders" unless they are filed. We were tired of being cut, sliced and diced by the dogs...
Well, the staff handed it back, and said to return it! I started laughing.
An old fashioned nail file worked like a charm last week for both dogs!! The staff was happy, and so is our skin!!
The Pasta -N-More looks interesting.
In defense of Billy Mays, he has dropped the volume of his voice, and lost weight...
He is not half as annoying to me as he used to be.
Since Walmart decided to carry ShamWows, I bought them, no shipping/handling!! Will see how they hold up against the leading quick dry towels I need to use on the dogs paws.
Oh, the guy that peddles the towels is now doing the Slap Chop.. had to look it up just now for the correct name.. Vince is the guy!!!
Ohh, and the EZ combs!! I tried something like this from Claires and liked it, but the comb went in down, not to the sides.. I wonder how well they would work.. anyone tried them yet???
You know they target late night because we are tired and think.. wow that is cool!
I did buy a total body fitness.. but was planning on that anyway.. and it is great!
Some of the other things just kill me though...
I have to laugh! What is the name of the small ball that is used for a total work out???

The "man foods" Nutrisystem hawks is hilarious! Gotta love Dan Marino though; he'll be doing the Hoveround in about 20 years... ;~)

The Sonic Blade is a friggin joke. Tater Mitts I got for christmas last year, they were quite useless...The magic bullet works great...and what fool would buy tape for their feet to remove toxins? I'll bet you have magnet insoles to balance your chi also...

That ShamWow guy is hustling mini, hand operated food choppers and graters now. Just saw the chopper ad for the first time today and it's just as corny as the ShamWow commercial, maybe even cornier. He personally made millions of dollars from the ShamWow gig. Got that camera guy!
