Halloween is the one time of the year you can dress up like whatever you want without being considered a crazy person. Take advantage of this big chance to be creative and express a side of yourself no one has ever seen. Whether you decide to dress up like your hero or your dog, the possibilities are endless. So ditch that stale Halloween mummy costume and check out our list of the top searched costumes for some ideas to get you started.Hollywood costumes took the top spots on our Halloween costumes list. Instead of popular Halloween videos like 'Nightmare on Elm Street' inspiring costumes, this year's get-ups are all about the Hollywood blockbusters. Hits like 'The Dark Knight,' 'Indiana Jones' and "Pirates of the Caribbean' created a craze for character costumes. To pull off the perfect Joker costume, all you need is a great Halloween makeup kit to paint on a deranged smile and to practice the phrase 'Why so serious?' with a disturbed drawl. Its enough to make Batman run for cover.
Disney costumes are making a big splash this Halloween too. For little kids, Disney movie characters are the coolest to dress up as. In fact, Disney at Halloween is fun for any age. Mermaid costumes, like Ariel, look adorable for newborn Halloween costumes and adults can doll up in a Tinkerbell costume for a sexy Halloween ensemble.
My parents used to dress up like one of the animal Halloween costumes that showed up on our top searched list. Who knew that all their years of dressing like a pair of bumble bees was actually ahead of the trend?

I love Halloween and how magical my 4 kids find it. I don't find the cost of costumes very magical however. I am not crafty enough or have enough time between 4 kids, a job and an elderly mom that lives with me to have either the time or energy to make. I refuse to spend $29.99 on a costume. The best place I have found for costumes, candy and other haloween stuff is Target.
I love TARGET. Great for fashion and funky home stuff that looks like it cost a lot more, as well as staples.
I shop online to save money on gas, use less gas and save money period. I shop at all my favorite stores through an online website that gives me the unpublished codes at about 300 stores (including Target, The Gap, Best Buy, Old Navy,
Drugstore.com, etc) as well as giving me between 5 and 50% back in cash on my purchases. The site is http://www.fatcrumbs.com I am being good to the environment and great to my wallet.

I remember dreading my honeymoon, about 9 months before I knew I was going to get married, because I was having a problem with thinning hair so I was very limited with what I could do, in terms of hairdos. My top priority was covering up my thinning and bald areas. I found out that I had alopecia, which my doctor said was caused by a homrmonal imbalance. Luckily I found a product for women http://HAIRLOSSTREATMENT2.TK that consisted of both a dietary supplement that helped me by blocking DHT, and topical solution that contains the only ingredient approved by the FDA to re-grow hair. Now that I have a full head of hair I can try any hairdo I want. I feel like a new woman.

A gazillion years ago there were body suits, like panty hose ... but they were they whole body, all the way up to a turtle neck. I had one that was brown that I wore while they were popular. Later I dragged it out of the attic, made a skirt that was exactly like a Milky Way candy wrapper and used it as my Hallowe'en costume. I was a big hit as a candy bar!

(Wow, I was hoping to read some pertinent comments, silly me.) My 7 year old wants to be a cheerleader this year, guess she's outgrown princesses. I remember being a cheerleader when i was a kid and being forced to do a cheer or cartwheel at every other house!
