People don't often think about what kind of stress they put on their bodies. They drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, don't get enough sleep and then they wonder why they have health problems. And when they do feel sick, the first thing they do is turn to medicine, which only adds more foreign chemicals to the body. There is a medication for almost everything these days, like quit smoking pills and insomnia drugs. Maybe the answer to feeling better isn't loading our bodies with more strange drugs. Perhaps one of the natural health remedies on our top searched list will help ease your ailments in a more healthy manner.
Most medicines only mask symptoms until they come back again; they don't cure problems. Think about it, how could you cure your heartburn by loading your digestive system with drugs? Natural treatments, like acupuncture and aligning your chakras, look to balance your body and help it function more smoothly.
One amazing natural health remedy is biofeedback, number eight on our top searched list. This treatment technique trains patients to be aware of the control they have over their body and to recognize the signals their body sends them. With this awareness, they are then able to improve their health by identifying circumstances that trigger symptoms. It is often used in patients who suffer from migraine headaches so that they can recognize the cause of migraines.
Natural medicine also has its own types of medicines, often in the form of herbs, flowers, minerals and vitamins. For example, the Bach Flower Remedy harnesses the individual healing powers of plants to treat maladies.
You should, of course, consult a medical professional if you are experiencing severe or recurring problems, because some major medical concerns may need additional attention and treatment.

I just love the neti pot. I always had a stuffy nose and one day I was watching Oprah and some lady did it on there. IT seemed to really help her. So i bought one and I love it. I would have never done it if it hadn't been on Oprah Now almost all of my friends use it!

Saw Palmetto shrunk my prostate and has maintained it for 30 years. I highly recomend it for men with swollen prostate. It is available at most drug stores, and it is relatively cheap.

I use the Sinucleanse nettipot and it works great! It even comes with the pre-measured saline packets to use. It feels weird at first, but once you get use to it,its not so bad. Its definitely better than being on tons of sinus medication or having to suffer through a day with clogged nostrils. It can be bought various places online or at GNC or Walgreens.

I have,in my life, fractured my skull 3 times, broken my neck and back twice each. i have a slew of drs. in my family, so traditional was all I knew. Codeine, demerol, vicodin, transdermal patches of fentenyl. I then started acupuncture. after a few short weeks, I started doing simple things like stretching and biofeedback. We have now moved to electro acupuncture, and I can do more and more every week. Please try it; you have nothing to lose. Did I mention that I have fibromyalgia, and lupus, and I am almost 70 yrs old.

Antioxidants, Omega 3's, acai berry and raw cocoa.

Everything on the market today is poison to your body. Trans fats, preservatives, aluminum and other heavy metals, mineral oils, you name it. We have to wake up and avoid these poisons. Do you have any idea what you are putting in and on your body everyday?? It's scary how clueless people are. Do you know that most lotions on the market today contain rendered animal fat and mineral oil? Mineral oil IS petroleum! Think about it... dead animal fat and petroleum... but we ignore it cause it has a nice scent. AND we apply it to the largest organ on the body... our skin!

I used to know a person, who was a heavy smoker... He'd use this method to "steam-clean" his lungs and bronchial tubes, when they got too stopped up. Apparently, it was able to remove a lot of the tar, which had accumulated from years of smoking (tobacco and marijuana). He was a paralyzed, Vietnam-vet, who eventually passed away, for reasons unrelated to his smoking.
