Losing weight would be so much less of a hassle if it was as easy as drinking water. You're in luck because it actually might be that east thanks to the many diet drinks out on the market. Weight loss beverages are packed with protein to keep your hunger at bay and your mouth busy, so you don't get boredom munchies. Their portability makes them perfect for a snack-on-the-go that will keep your stomach tied over. Some diet drinks work as meal replacements. They have enough calories to count as a light meal, however their fat and protein content make them worthy of a dietary supplement. Diet systems, like Medifast Diet and Slim Fast, include these drinks. Just think of it as a diet-to-go!
Other weight loss drinks help you lose weight by suppressing your appetite. As a sort of liquid protein diet, these drinks also contain diet supplements to leave you felling fuller, longer.
There are several Chinese weight loss teas that claim to help you lose weight; two of them appear on our list. Most of these teas are varieties of oolong tea, a traditional Chinese tea that has been used for hundreds of years. The good thing about them is that they are all-natural and healthier than most diet pills and powders. However, there isn't solid scientific backing that these tea diets actually help shed pounds.

Not one of these comments is genuine...all are advertisements. AOL should stop allowing website postings or call these "advertisements" instead of comments. Disgusting.

I tried Wu-Yi Tea. Trust me, you are wasting your money. The only way you will see results is if you follow the strict calorie diet and an hour of exercise a day. Do you really need the tea if you can adhere that every day? Then there is the issue of price. Seriously $59.95 + s&h for 60 bags? That's more than a dollor a bag. It doesn't give you energy or reduce fat, the diet and exercise does. I tried it with less exercise and 1500 cal instead of the 1200 cal they required and I didn't loose anything. At the end of 2 weeks I gained 1 pound. Then try to get your money back. That's another story. A nightmare.

The BEST pill is Phentermine..course it's not so readily available as it was 2 years ago when I started it. I went from a 14 to a 4 and included going to the gym along with the pill. It was awesome! Now I can't find a thing. I had a baby in March and want to go back to my 4 and nothing works the same so far. I did try the Wu Yi Tea and that did nothing for me. I tried some other fake Phentermine pill (don't have the name with me), nothing. I want Phentermine to come back as readily available as it was so I can use it again. It was $99 for 90 days 2 yrs ago, now they want $300 for it and half the time, your order doesn't arrive (from the people I know who have tried--I haven't because I can't afford to lose $300)

Coffee(caffeine)has been show to elevate one's metabolism.
Also, ephedrine has been shown to be extremely effective in elevation of one's metabolism. Researcher Larry Hobbs, at one time stated that ephedrine was even more than prescription meditaions.
The health risk of ephedrine have been over exaggerated. As some may remember, the FDA pulled it off the market a few years ago.
However, a law suit against the FDA, later revealed their "health" issue claims were unfounded. That meaning ephedrine can be once again purchased.
The combination of caffeine with ephedrine is show to produce a synergistic effect when it come to elevating one's metabolism (increasing burning body fat).
Synergistic meaning that the whole is greater than it's parts. An example is that combining caffeine with ephedrine would be like 2+2=5.
Hobbs'noted in his book, "The New Diet Pills." Hobbs provides Bariatric Medical Physicians (Weight Loss Doctors) with research on herbs and medications that are effective in treating those who are over weight.
Hobbs' The Ideal Diet Pill" provides more informationtion. http://www.worldwidehealthcenter.net/articles-130.html
With that said, what trumps weight loss supplements and medications is "Interval Aerobic" exercise. Research shows that 15-20 minutes of "Interval Aerobic" will elevate you metabolism for hours.
Data from Metabolism (Research Magazine)demonstrates that up to 9 times more fat loss occurs with "Interval Aerobic" exercise vs lower intensity programs. "Forget the Fat Burning Zone", http://cbass.com/FATBURN.HTM
Weight training with short rest periods between sets will provide the same increase in one's metabolism.

Save your money on these drinks/pills and invest in some healthy food and a gym membership. The only lasting weight/fat loss comes from a lifestyle change NOT a bottle.

My only comment here is doesn't AOL hire proof readers??? lol If not then I sure hope they are not paying these people a lot in salary to write for them. All of the articles I read from News to Entertainment are consistently full of spelling and grammatical errors. It's truly unreal to me. Where do they hire these people from?

I have tried the Chinese tea as mentioned above. It cost about $45 on-line and sounded too good to be true. It was...It was very tasty, however, I followed their instructions and didn't lose one pound.
