With summer here, many of my friends have been talking about one thing: losing weight. As we started talking about all the different diet plans out there, one friend asked, "Why diet, when you can just pop a diet pill?" Is it really that easy? Being completely naive about diet pills and diet supplements, I decided to pull a list of the top searched diet pills to find out what all the hype was about. I can see why Alli made it to the top of the list. According to their customer testimonials, this pill, along with diet and exercise, can increase weight loss up to 50 percent. However, Alli is known to have some nasty side effects as well. According to their website, you will pass something "that looks like the oil on top of a pizza" out your body. Are the benefits worth the costs? Find out more at AOL Body.
Did you know phentermine received FDA approval back in 1959? It's still the top searched diet pill today. It's strange to think people have been using phentermine for so long.
I have to say, I'm a little skeptical of all these miracle pills and I wonder if they really lead to healthy weight loss. There are so many diet pills that out there that I question how safe they really are. Some of these diet pills I have actually heard of like Hoodia and Hydroxycut. But what exactly are Meridia and Lipovox?
Dieting is hard! Quick diets don't help you lose weight long term and exercise regimens are hard to stick to. Maybe diet pills really are the best way how to lose weight effectively.
Yes, popping a diet pill does sound much easier than counting your calories or exercising, but do they really work? Have you tried any of these diet pills? And if so, what worked for you? Try searching for diet pills on AOL Search. Or, if diet pills aren't your thing, you can check out AOL Body for weight loss tips.

I've tried Alli for one month and in its defense, I only passed oil when I ate MORE than 19 grams of FAT PER MEAL. But isn't it better to come out instead of turning into fat. You cannot eat more fat than the plan recommends for you. The goal is to learn to eat low fat foods thus losing weight, reducing cholesterol, and getting your butts off the couch and exercising.

I have been taking Alli for 15 days now. I have had no side effects or "treatment effects" as they call it. I have lost 14lbs. during this time. That is almost a pound a day.

my 16 year old daughter has been using phentermine since december of 2007 and so far she's lost 47 pounds so far. thank God she hasn't had any side effects from it. she excercises, not everyday, but also eats less which is what the pill does, cuts her appetite. her dr. checks her blood pressure every two to three months to make sure she's fine. thank God Almighty, so far so good.

I took ali for about a month and lost 15 pounds. stop taking it for about 3 weeks, then I started taking it again, it's been 6 weeks now and I haven't lost a pound since.
While on Ali I pass oily stuff, and I use the toilet at least 2-3 times a day

I started using Alli and I did have the oily fat come out even when I was eating right. I've stopped because I couldn't stand teh side effects. I think the side eefects are worse with certain people.

When I turned 30 the weight came with it! I had a stressful year and gained unwanted weight. I've never had trouble getting the extra weight off until now, nothing worked! Diet, excercise (rigorous)! I was very uncomfortable in my own skin, I was miserable - which didn't help! I went to see my doctor she gave me lots of dieting advice and phentermine. I have lost 19 pounds since May. It has been a combination of comletely changing my diet, exercising more each day, and the pill. It really helps me not think about food. When I do eat its because I know I need the nutrients not for pleasure or to feel better. I have one more month on phentermine - hopefully I can continue the good habits I've started. I have had no negative side effects, actually my blood pressure has gotten better. Also the B12 shot has been helpful.

I never thought any diet pills could possibly work until I saw that blog with Ryan in it http://www.zylene4uweightloss.blogspot.com and I'm so glad I did. I've lost 26 pounds in 4 months, at a nice steady pace, and I feel better than at any time in the last 25 years. www.health4wealth.com/zylene4u is where I order it from.

I have been using phentermine for a month now. I went to my doctor's appointment today actually and have so far lost 13 lbs. It does help with cravings and so far the only side effect I have is cotton mouth. I also have done a strict diet that the doctor gives you, but you truly do not feel like you are on a diet. You feel very satisfied after having normal portions

The best way to loose weight(real deep body fat) is the use of Hcg injections & calorie restriction. Check out the Hcg website.

hi never took ali but the side of effects are the same a xenical.i used this years ago after having kids but all comes back as soon as your off of it. all pills do the same so the companies can make money but it ruins the body system. just watch all kids of suguar and breads pastas fill up on more water with ice and lime juice. no eating at night water and more water and you will be full.ps dont think about food. if you watch you will loose the desire to induldge.

maybe people could just try proper diet and exercise...if there was a pill that worked we would not be the fattest unhealthiest country in the world. you have to remember that fast weight loss leads to fast gain back. also there is a huge difference between Weight loss and Fat loss...

Phentermine has been a God-send for me. I had lost a lot of weight by heavily restricting my diet 2 years ago but just couldn't do it any longer. After my sister-in-law & brother-in-law had good success w/phentermine I decided to try it. It makes me not even think about food. On diets you're constantly thinking about how hungry you are & when you get to eat next. I have decreased my calorie intake drastically & now realize exactly what my body needs to function. I have never remembered caring so little about food. I eat when I'm hungry and don't overeat any longer, when I start to feel full I stop. I never had willpower over food like this before. I've lost 17lbs in about a month with little effort. It's also very cheap. I can get a months worth for $20.

I was taking Alli before I found out I was pregnant. I think I was on the pills for about two or three months. I took it as directed, exercised regularly (3-4 times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes), and ate a reduced calorie diet. I lost at least 25 pounds. I did experience treatment effects once, but that was because I totally pigged out on some cheesy, meaty lasagna one night. As long as you keep your fat intake low, you shouldn't suffer the consequences. YOu get brand new, unopened bottles on Ebay for half the price.
I am 5 months pregnant now and have gained back about 15 pounds, unfortunately. I plan on getting back on Alli and resuming my routine as soon as possible after I have the kid. I think it's worth it if you are really serious. Just remember, there is no diet pill that will make you lose weight without diet and exercise. Some claim to, but that is just total B.S.

i tried Alli, yes i had the oily poops, but i also had uncontrollable poops. i had absolutely no control over my bowel movements - none! if all i had was the oily thing i could live with that - but finding myself wearing depends - was just too much for me. i gave it 10 days and just had to stop!

I am into loosing weight but I have found that the only things that ever worked for me were pills that increased my energy. I have not found anything lately that does that. The Government has taken everything that is a stimulant off the market.
