Heath Ledger, born in Australian, was only 28 years old when he was found dead in his Manhattan apartment yesterday. Heath appeared in over 21 movies, but his claim to fame was receiving an Academy Award nomination for his performance in 'Brokeback Mountain'. He most recently filmed a new Batman movie called 'The Dark Knight', where he starred as The Joker. The new movie is set to hit theaters on July 18. Outside of acting, Heath was also a father to his two year old daughter, Matilda, that he shared with ex-girlfriend Michelle Williams.

What caused his death? Rumor has it that before his death, the actor was battling drugs and depression after his split with Williams. The autopsy that was performed earlier today and came back inconclusive, but prescription sleeping pills were found near Ledger's body at the time of death. His death has shocked everyone. His family is grieving and strongly believes that this was an accident and not suicide.
